Newcastle United's Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali has been handed a two-month suspended ban by the English Football Association following an investigation into his betting activity.
The ban followed Tonali's admission of 50 breaches of FA betting regulations.
Tonali, who transferred from AC Milan for £55 million in 2023, won't serve the ban if he avoids further violations until the end of next season.
The midfielder had admitted to placing numerous bets on football matches shortly after joining Newcastle - including bets on Newcastle's own matches, although he insisted that all were for Newcastle to win.
The FA also imposed a £20,000 fine and issued a warning regarding his future conduct.
