Ursa Major Technologies will go public after agreeing to a takeover by Bleichroeder Acquisition III that values the company at $2.3 billion.

The deal includes at least $350 million in private investment and the possibility of up to $345 million more, capital the company said it will use to accelerate production of solid rocket motors, the HAVOC Missile System, liquid hypersonic engines and space mobility systems.

Ursa Major, a Colorado-based rocket propulsion company that has shifted this year from development into scaled production for defense programs, has attracted Pentagon contracts and late-stage financing to industrialize its manufacturing capacity.

The company recently opened a Longmont, Colorado facility that state filings and local reporting link to as many as 1,850 new jobs and was backed by $35.26 million in state tax credits.

The SPAC is led and backed by Inflection Point Asset Management and the combined company is expected to trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker IPXX, with closing anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.
