Anthropic has obtained a $35 billion financing package arranged by Apollo Global Management and Blackstone, the Financial Times reported.

The FT described the transaction as a chip financing deal intended to underwrite Anthropic’s access to semiconductor hardware for its compute needs.

The report named Apollo and Blackstone as the arrangers but provided no further roster or valuation details.

The FT said the funding is aimed at bolstering Anthropic’s capacity to support its model development and deployment as it scales compute resources.
