Adobe has built Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express and Firefly into Google's Gemini chatbot, and added Acrobat PDF tools to Anthropic's Claude.
The move means users can work with Adobe's software inside the chatbots, without opening Creative Cloud, the company's subscription platform for its apps.
It also gives Adobe access to Gemini's audience of more than one billion monthly users.
The Gemini integration is available on all Gemini plans worldwide.
"We're excited to expand our partnership with Adobe and bring industry-leading creative tools directly into Gemini," said Neal Pancholi, Google's managing director for global partnerships and Gemini.
Inside Gemini, users can ask the assistant to enhance photos, adjust lighting and colour, and crop images to specific formats.
They can also restyle product shots for seasonal campaigns and repurpose designs while keeping their branding intact.
The updated Adobe connector in Claude adds Acrobat features that let users organise PDFs, redact sensitive information, convert and export files, edit text and mark up documents.
It also includes a Document Review skill that annotates documents and suggests changes within the chat.
Adobe has been building its creative and document tools into third-party chatbots throughout 2026, as part of a strategy to reach creators on the platforms they already use.
The company said it will keep adding tools to the connectors.
