Meta's Threads is rolling out "Dear Algo", an AI-powered feature that lets users tell the app which topics to see more or less of.

The social-media app - Meta's answer to Twitter, that's connected to Instagram - will roll out the AI-powered algorithm customisation feature first to users in US, New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom

Users can activate the feature by typing a "Dear Algo" message to the system via the app's public Threads post, to tell Threads what they want to see more or less of. For example, by typing “Dear algo, show me more posts about podcasts", it explained.
