NVIDIA and Microsoft are rolling out a unified stack intended to make agentic artificial intelligence easier to deploy across Windows devices, the Azure cloud and local environments.
The companies said the effort responds to the practical needs of agentic AI, which requires more than high‑quality models: it also needs fast hardware, secure runtimes, a responsive data layer and models tuned for sustained, long‑running reasoning.
The stack groups those elements together so developers can access performance, security and data connectivity in concert rather than assembling each layer separately, the companies said.
By spanning Windows endpoints, Azure and local deployments the partnership aims to offer a consistent path from device to cloud to on‑premises systems for applications that orchestrate multi‑step tasks and maintain state over time.
The announcement frames the work as an infrastructure play to move agentic AI from experimental models into practical, deployable systems across Microsoft and NVIDIA platforms.
