AI-written resumes are causing problems for recruiters, that's according to a new report by Robert Half, which claims they are slowing down processes and are making it harder to hire.

Many job seekers use AI tools to polish resumes and tailor applications, which can improve presentation but also increase the difficulty of validating claimed skills and experiences for recruiters and managers, the recruitment firm said.

The company’s survey further shows 84% of HR leaders report their recruiting team's workload has increased, and 67% report longer time-to-hire; 89% of hiring managers say staffing firms have been effective in addressing AI-related hiring challenges, Robert Half added.
