UForce, the London-based drone startup, is in talks to raise about $500 million in new financing at a valuation of about $5 billion, with Valor Equity Partners set to lead the round.
The talks come after a rapid re-rating for the company following its public launch and a March $50 million round, and they reflect strong investor appetite for dual-use and defence-aligned drone systems amid battlefield-driven procurement demand.
The financing discussions are described as not closed and subject to change, and the lead firm is run by SpaceX board member Antonio Gracias.
If completed, the deal would mark a steep step-up from UForce’s March financing and further signal investor willingness to back fast-growing defence-tech platforms focused on air, land and maritime autonomous capabilities.
