Alice, an Israeli startup that builds tools to protect artificial‑intelligence models from misuse and rogue behaviour, raised $140 million in a funding round led by Apax Digital.

The inflow arrives amid rising demand for model-protection technology following a spate of high-profile hacks, and the company said it works with major AI providers including Anthropic and Google.

Alice Chief Executive Noam Schwartz said the investment puts the company at a valuation close to $1 billion, and the round included participation from SentinelOne and Samsung Electronics.

The financing deepens private-capital interest in the AI-security category and positions Alice to scale its protections as enterprise and cloud deployments of large models expand.
