Reuters has made its journalism and multimedia content available on Snowflake Marketplace to let enterprises enrich AI applications and models with factual news and multimedia content.

The move gives Snowflake customers access to Reuters reporting dating back to 1987 across five languages and is pitched as a way to supply governed source material while ensuring licensing and compensation for Reuters intellectual property.

"We're proud to partner with Snowflake to enable responsible AI innovation built on Reuters unmatched journalism," Erika Young, Strategic Business Development Director for Reuters, said.

Snowflake Marketplace offers instant, no-copy access to third-party data, apps and AI products, a model Reuters says lowers integration costs and speeds the path from data to AI-driven insights.

The deal fits Snowflake's wider push to be the enterprise hub for licensed, provenance-rich content for retrieval-augmented generation and agents and follows the Marketplace's earlier work with publishers and knowledge providers to package proprietary unstructured data for AI.

Reuters' Marketplace listing complements its recent moves to make archive and real‑time feeds usable in automated AI pipelines and gives enterprises another route to buy and integrate verified news directly into their models.
