OpenAI released the Codex Micro keyboard, a compact Codex-branded input device built with Work Louder and available to order on its product page.
The device brings Codex agents into reach by assigning each Agent Key a function and providing a joystick for instant workflow triggers, command keys for shortcuts and a dial to adjust reasoning level, and it is sold in clicky and silent variants for $230.
“Each Agent Key lights up with a live RGB status from Codex, so you can tell what’s thinking, running, waiting, or done before you even switch chats,” the product page says.
OpenAI lists three Codex-specific features-flick the joystick to launch tasks like reviewing a PR or debugging, keep core actions on dedicated keys for accept/reject and push-to-talk, and turn the dial to trade speed for deeper reasoning-positioning the keyboard as a physical companion for developers who run Codex workflows.
