Celero Communications, which develops coherent digital signal processors to speed data transmission for artificial-intelligence systems, raised $275 million in a funding round co‑led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners and CapitalG.
The company said the financing will be used to build AI networking chips and scale its product work to improve links between racks and nearby data centers that form larger AI compute clusters, a bottleneck Celero targets in data-center networks.
The round values Celero at more than $3 billion, includes the board appointment of Atreides managing partner Gavin Baker to the startup’s board, and follows an earlier disclosed financing of $140 million last year.
The company said the fresh capital will accelerate deployment of its coherent DSP technology so customers can stitch racks and facilities into larger, higher‑bandwidth clusters for AI workloads.
