Runway AI, the applied-AI company that builds image- and video-generating software, said its annual recurring revenue reached $200 million in September and had doubled over the past five months.

The company said that growth is being driven by brands and enterprises using its models to produce marketing materials and ads, and has added customers including Dolce & Gabbana and Palo Alto Networks.

The milestone follows an aggressive year of commercial and financial scaling.

Runway repositioned toward production-grade creative tooling and raised large late-stage rounds in 2025 and 2026, including a $315 million financing at a $5.3 billion valuation in February 2026, raising total disclosed funding to roughly $860 million as it pushed deeper into enterprise workflows.

Runway says the ARR milestone as validation of its enterprise strategy and says it will use the momentum to deepen product integration into production pipelines.

It also has plans to expand sales into brands and agencies as it pursues broader adoption of its creative and infrastructure offerings.
