Yunxi Technology has submitted a confidential initial public offering application to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
The Guangzhou-based AI start-up, officially classed as one of China’s “little giants,” was valued at $1.49 billion in its latest private round and is working with Bocom International on the listing.
The company is aiming to raise several hundred million dollars and the listing is targeted to take place by the end of this year, though sources cautioned timing and size could change.
High-profile backers of the company include Jack Ma’s Yunfeng Capital and HSG Capital.
The move follows a run of confidential filings by Chinese AI names for Hong Kong listings, including a separate filing by Moonshot AI for a Hong Kong IPO, underscoring renewed appetite for mainland AI deals in the city.
Yunxi builds end‑to‑end digital growth products for consumer goods, retail, real estate and automotive clients, and the planned sale would be a near-term test of investor demand for smaller, domestically backed Chinese AI specialists.
