SpaceX, the AI, rocket and satellite company that listed on the Nasdaq in June, posts its third-quarter 2026 results after the US market close tonight, with a live webcast at 9:30pm UK time.
SpaceX
The company's debut earnings report showed second-quarter revenue of 7.8 billion dollars, up 92% year on year, though SpaceX posted a net loss of 541 million dollars for the period.
Starlink, its satellite broadband division, was the largest single contributor at 4.3 billion dollars, with chief financial officer Bret Johnsen telling investors the company was on course to reach 100 billion dollars in annualised revenue by year end, driven by AI compute contracts.
Whether Q3 supports that trajectory is the central question for investors tonight.
Netflix
Netflix, the streaming service, also reports Q3 results after the US close, with numbers expected around 9pm UK time.
In the second quarter, Netflix posted revenue of 12.56 billion dollars, up 13.4% year on year, with an operating margin of 33.4%.
The company guided for revenue of around 12.9 billion dollars and a 33.2% margin for Q3, and options markets are pricing in a move of around plus or minus 9.5% on tonight's numbers.
Netflix shares have fallen around 7.6% since the July report.
What else to watch
Tesla and Meta Platforms both report Q3 results on Wednesday, making this a heavy week for the sector.
The earnings run arrives as the tech market attempts to stabilise after last week's AI-driven sell-off, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rising 1.61% on Monday to snap an eight-session losing streak.
CoreWeave, the AI cloud computing company at the centre of last week's credit concerns, remains in focus, with its 2032 bond yielding around 14.9% and its five-year credit default swap spread at around 1,082 basis points.
The 10-year US Treasury yield near 5.15% is keeping financing costs tight across the sector and sharpening scrutiny of any company relying on debt to fund growth.
