Samsung said its Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in London, UK, on July 22, kicking off at 9am ET, and the event invite carries the tagline "A new shape unfolds" with imagery that suggests a new, shorter form factor.
The invite and ongoing leaks point to a third foldable format, a shorter, wider book-style device that would sit alongside Samsung’s Flip and Fold lines, and the company is widely expected to refresh those models while mirroring designs already seen from Huawei’s Pura X Max and the anticipated foldable iPhone.
The company said in an announcement the cropped ticket graphic on the invite visually reinforces a reduced height for the new device, and reporting also expects Samsung to announce updates to its Galaxy Watch family, including a more premium Ultra model.
Samsung will reveal the new hardware at the July 22 Unpacked livestream in London, when pricing, exact specs and availability for the wider foldable and refreshed devices will be confirmed.
