Nvidia has agreed to acquire a minority stake in Doctolib, the French healthcare platform said in an announcement.

The deal pulls the Paris-based company - best known for its online appointment-booking and telehealth services - into Nvidia's expanding orbit of healthcare partnerships.

Nvidia's push into health has so far centred on supplying AI infrastructure to hospitals, pharmaceutical firms and medical-technology developers rather than taking direct stakes in consumer-facing platforms, making the Doctolib investment a departure in form if not in sector focus.

The chipmaker's dominance in AI training and inference hardware has made it a common investment and supply partner across industries racing to deploy AI, from cloud providers to automakers to telecoms operators.

Financial terms of the stake were not disclosed in Tuesday's announcement.
